In 2017, the city has received domestic and foreign tourists of 11.6 million, with a year on year growth of 15% and 13%, and has been awarded China excellent tourist city, the first batch of national leisure agricultural and rural tourism demonstration county and so on.

With rich tourism resources, Rongcheng City has unique natural landscape, complete supporting facilities, and possesses the internationally recognized five basic elements of tourism resources of "sunshine, beach, sea, air, and green ".It possesses 2 provincial tourism resorts of Shidaowan and Haoyunjiao, 9 AAA scenic spots and 4 national AAAA scenic spots of Chengshantou, FahuaTemple, and Border Trade City of China and Korea and Naxianghai Tourism Resort. The city possesses numerous natural and cultural landscapes, including Xixiakou Wildlife Park, Mount. Tiecha, Shengshui Temple, Colored Stone- the 1st China's unique stone, Mt. Weide and Mt. Cha-two national forest parks, Sakura Sports Park, Jiming Island, etc.

There are 14 star-rated hotels, including 5 four-star hotels (Shidao hotel, Chengshan friendship hotel, Chishan hotel, Shidao tourism resort, Huaxing hotel) and 7 three-star hotels. There are other hotels opened but no rated, such as Ni Shi Hai Thai hotel, Intercontinental Holiday Plaza Hotel, Bo Long Li Jing Hotel, Jiu Long Sheng Hotel, etc.

※ IV. Rural Tourism

We vigorously implement enriching people by tourism rich and accurate poverty alleviation project. Nine towns have been approved as provincial level. There is 1 national provincial agricultural tourism demonstration site, 23 provincial industrial and agricultural tourism demonstration sites, 20 provincial tourism characteristic villages, 23 recreational fishery demonstration sites at or above the provincial level. In 2014, Rongcheng was approved as provincial rural tourism demonstration county. In 2016, it was rated as the unit of the first batch whole-area tourism demonstration zone.
